Our dedicated mining team work on repair, modification and new fabrication of mining buckets, chutes, impact plates and other rotable spares. In addition to larger fabricated mine site equipment and structures.
Design improvementsWith the teams expert experience combined with our capabilities in 3D scanning and design we are able to recommend design improvements to extend the life of rotable spares.
New FabricationWe have worked on a number of large scale mining fabrication projects with supply of mechanical equipment, structural assemblies, maintenance platforms as well as large new-built chutes.
Repeat Order StockFor repeat items that are required in large quantities - such as reclaimer buckets - Cays maintain extensive component stock that allows swift turnaround to meet tight deadlines.
Supplier Approved AssemblyOur close relationship with wear liner suppliers means our team is trained and certified for chute fit-out using a system designed in collaboration with the suppliers themselves.

For over 20 years Cays have been working with one of WAs largest iron ore producers. The quality of our work has been recognized through extensive contract work, which was recently extended through to 2030. In addition we were pleased to be nominated for a supplier recognition award.
