Perth Arena BGC Project

Perth Arena, the spectacular new facility is in the heart of the city located on Wellington St in Perth’s CBD and close to all major transport hubs. This multi-purpose indoor venue will be the new home for the Perth-based tennis tournament and will host concerts and other indoor sports.

The cost of Perth’s new indoor stadium is now said to be totalling $335 million and is expected to finish 2011.

It is estimated that Cays will supply over 3100 tonnes of structural steel which will represent the largest single project Cays has carried out to date.

Cays scope involves:

• Floor beams for levels 1-5 ranging from 530UB to fully fabricated beams 2m deep.
• Fixed roof trusses up to 5.5m wide and 20m long.
• Catwalks to all stadium roof access areas.
• Roof framing and bracing.
• Acoustic walls.
